A Hospital Wagon Ride
Sherrie and Michael Wells started the Hugs for Brady Foundation after their son Brady was diagnosed with Non-Differentiated Acute Leukemia. Like any child (or adult), Brady hated being trapped in his hospital room, so his mom had the idea to bring in his wagon. Pulling him around the hospital floors was easier than trying to carry him with all his equipment. When Brady died just before his second birthday, Sherrie thought other kids with cancer might like a wagon ride at the hospital too, and Brady’s Buggies was born.
